Patriot Fife and Drum Duo performance in celebration of America's 250th Anniversary!

Lose yourself in the Spirit of ’76! Join us to hear the stirring sounds of Revolutionary War field music from the Patriot Fife and Drum Duo in Falmouth’s celebration of America250!  Listening to the Fife and Drum will send a shiver down your spine and an echo through your core as you witness a slice of our military and musical heritage. This promises to be a motivating, high energy, informative, and intriguing performance of fife and drum music from the 17th and 18th century by Dave Vose and his partner Sue Walko. They perform fully costumed, talk about their instruments, and give you’re a glimpse into life during the American Revolution. All ages are welcome to join us!

About the Patriot Fife and Drum Duo
The Patriot Fife and Drum Duo are comprised of seasoned musicians David Vose and Sue Walko who perform fife and drum music from the 17th and 18th century. They have performed music for over 40 years between them at many celebrations in New England including at the Christmas Prelude in Kennebunkport, Maine, the Ogunquit, Maine Patriot's Day celebration, at the Paul Revere House in Boston, Strawberry Banke Museum in Portsmouth, NH, and have appeared on FOX and CBS television. They have even performed for presidential candidates.

David Vose is a retired professor from Berklee College of Music in Boston. In 2018, he was inducted into the World Massachusetts Educators Hall of Fame, and later in 2019, he was inducted into the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame. Sue Walko is an experienced fifer who grew up in Connecticut, the hot bed area of fifes and drums. She has played in various fife and drum corps. They are motivating, high energy, informative and perform fully costumed.
