Cut Flower Gardening Workshop

Join UMaine Extension Horticulture Professional Pamela Hargest for a workshop on cut flower gardening on Wednesday, June 3, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. In this workshop, you’ll explore tried-and-true cut flower varieties, how to prepare your garden beds, and tips for planting and maintaining a thriving cut flower garden. Participants will also take home seeds to plant in their own gardens.

Registration is not required. Those who register will receive an email reminder. Drop ins welcome!

About the Presenter
Pamela Hargest is a Horticulture Professional for UMaine Extension based in Cumberland County. She supports home, school, and community gardeners through educational programs that build horticulture skills and help them reach their goals. As a Master Gardener Volunteer Coordinator, she works with volunteers and partners to offer research-based programs focused on sustainable, ecologically sound gardening practices. She also manages the UMaine Gardens at Tidewater Farm in Falmouth.
