Don't have time to read a whole book for a book club? 

Join us to discuss bite-size short stories instead! Every other Monday* at 10am, the group meets to discuss a story or two from a specific collection. New members are encouraged to join any time! Early childhood is a time of learning! Join us to boost early science, engineering, math, and art skills with fun and engaging activities. This program is held the 4^th Monday of every month and is appropriate for ages 2-5 and their caregivers. No registration is necessary.

Drop in to our volunteer-led genealogy help desk with volunteer Tim Lynch in the main area of the library, across from the Information Desk. 

Tim can help you with: ancestry.com, family tree construction, record keeping, digital resources, local historical societies

Please note: this is a volunteer-led help desk and will occur MOST Tuesdays. Every Tuesday is not guaranteed. Call 207-781-2351 x140 if you would like to make sure Tim is here any given week.

Each week, the Falmouth Aspiring Writers Group meets to read and workshop original pieces written by its members. New members are always welcome! Should you choose to join, please make sure to arrive promptly at 1pm, as interruptions later in the meeting can be distracting to other participants.

Develop early literacy skills through stories, songs, rhymes, and bubbles. This storytime is suggested for children ages 0-3 and their parents and caregivers. 

A textile craftsmanship group that meets weekly to work on and share their own projects created by knitting, felting, tatting, weaving, embroidery, spinning, etc.  Participants are encouraged to bring along their unfinished projects for a little inspiration and guidance.

Drop in any time between 1pm and 3pm every Thursday!

No registration is necessary. Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one; the library can provide some.
