Program Description

Event Details

Taught by a local writer and educator, this writing workshop is open to both fiction and nonfiction writers. Join Emma Reynolds, a local writing group leader and instructor, for a free two-hour creative writing workshop. She will provide tailored exercises and examples as well as writing prompts to get your creative juices flowing. During part of the workshop, she will lead a group discussion about the craft of writing. Before she concludes this afternoon session, you'll have an opportunity to share your work aloud and receive valuable impressions and feedback from group members. Emma will provide simple tips and optional take away assignments to help you maintain a consistent writing practice outside of the workshop as well. All teens and adults are welcome to join. Space is limited so register today!

Registration is required. Please bring a pen, pencil, and paper, or a laptop to the workshop.
