Join us for an event in honor of Veterans Day.

Growing up in Maine and NY, Bob Sheppard and his siblings had no idea their dad served during WWII with a segregated unit of the US Army Air Force. He later had the chance to learn much more about the Tuskegee Airmen, accompanying his father, James Sheppard to airshows around the country, speaking engagements as well as conventions and other special events getting a chance to know some of the African-Americans who served in the famed 332nd Fighter Group.

When his dad was no longer able to talk about his experiences, Bob, who lives in Kittery began filling in for his father, who sadly passed away in 2018, Today he gives presentations to a range of audiences offering a glimpse into the life of Maine's Tuskegee Airman!

The presentation will include an explanation of the Tuskegee Aviation Experiment, a portion of a documentary video, an update on the 332nd Fighter Group as well as time for Q& A.
