Don't buy your mom a carnation, plant her a native flower instead!
Rebecca from the Falmouth Land Trust will give a short presentation on why native plants are important and what the Land Trust is doing with them on FLT properties.
Then, plant a couple of native flowers from seed and learn how to take care of them to eventually plant outside.
Activities are suitable for all ages from children through adults.
Keep the seedlings or give them away - All are welcome, including those who do not celebrate Mothers Day.
