Program Description

Event Details

Build a Story is a program where the little hands (4-8 years old) read a story while building an element of the story. Motivating read-alouds provide framework for this introduction to manual woodworking tools.

Kids 4-8 are invited to join us every 2nd Friday of the month for this program! Registration is required and is limited to 10 participants each month.

Please note: There will be some weeks where tools will be used; parents must stay with their children at all times.

Teacher Sandrine is originally from a little town in Southern France. She started to build furniture in 2010 for her daughter's dolls. From there, she pursued her love for the craft with bigger pieces like bookshelves, tables, beds.
By creating Studio Artisane, she wanted to share her passion and empower her students by teaching " petits et grands" (kids and adults) to confidently build their own projects using hand and power tools. She wants her students to be proud to say "I built it!".
