How do we use poetry to take care of ourselves?

In celebration of National Poetry Month, we are pleased to welcome Maya Williams, former Portland poet laureate, to lead an interactive poetry program!

How do we use poetry as a form of self-care? Especially when it comes to our mental health? We will read poetry by Shira Erlichman and Maya Williams, and have generative writing time in response to prompts inspired by the poems. There are many ways folks can share, and sharing is completely optional!

All are welcome.  Registration is not required, drop-ins are welcome, but those who register will receive an email reminder.
