Art Quilts Maine Exhibit: Doors

Please join us February 6 - April 10 to enjoy our newest exhibit featuring Art Quilts Maine. 

Each year, members of Art Quilts Maine, a contemporary quilt art organization, produce work that travels around the state. They explore contemporary quilt art, inspire creativity and individuality, and promote the understanding, appreciation and recognition of Maine quilters. 

This year's theme is “doors.”  Artists responded to this challenge by creating quilts depicting doors that were both literal and symbolic, as well as in “triptych,” which required artists to create three small pieces that build on and relate to one another.
