 moments, stopping time for an instant to reveal some character, beauty, or
  deeper meaning. This collection of images are some moments during 2025 th
 at we think are worth pausing to contemplate. In Shawn Ouellette's ph
 oto, patterns of light create art on a brick wall on a Portland side stree
 t and pure exuberance lights up the face of a World War II veteran arrivin
 g at his 103rd birthday party in a photo by Derek Davis. Brianna Soukup&#0
 39;s photo of people in costumes standing in an elevator just as its doors
  begin to close captures a quirky, fun moment. Daryn Slover's photo o
 f a goalie looking over his shoulders at a soccer ball flying into the net
  is the epitome of peak sports action. Elements of nature are brought toge
 ther in Gregory Rec's photo of a crow silhouetted against a large sup
 ermoon.We hope you like viewing these images as much as we enjoyed finding
